
Aaron is a Principal with Brown Schultz Sheridan and Fritz and serves as Chair of the Firm’s Audit and Accounting Committee. Aaron specializes in providing auditing and consulting services to a variety of nonprofit organizations, including numerous faith-based organizations. Aaron received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business/Economics in 1992 from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
Aaron has more than 18 years of experience working primarily with nonprofit organizations. This experience has allowed him to develop a thorough understanding of the everchanging nonprofit industry and has provided him with opportunities to provide consulting services to nonprofits in the central Pennsylvania area relating to general accounting, internal controls and compliance and tax reporting issues on a routine basis.
Aaron has been awarded the designation of Certified Internal Control Auditor by the Institute for Internal Control, a designation which recognizes his commitment to assisting clients with implementing and reviewing internal controls. He also serves as a Peer Reviewer for the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organization's Standards of Excellence Program.
