April 2, 2012: BSSF will join with the American Heart Association in helping to raise awareness of heart disease in women by sponsoring the 2012 Go Red For Women Luncheon in Lancaster.
"Heart disease is the number one killer of women and it has touched all of our lives," said Pamela Bazella, CPA, Principal. As a survivor of heart disease, Pam Bazella understands how blessed she is to live in a community that has renowned surgeons, facilities and research advancements funded by the American Heart Association.
"We are proud to be part of Go Red For Women and bring awareness of heart disease and living a heart-healthy lifestyle to the Lancaster community," chimed in Susanne Dombrowski, CPA, Principal. Susanne supports her life-long friend and business partner, Pam, and together they both strongly support the Go Red For Women movement.
Pam and Susanne co-chaired the 2010 Go Red For Women Luncheon in Lancaster and have personally donated to the Circle of Red the past several years.
The Go Red For Women Luncheon will be held Friday, May 11 at the Doubletree Resort at Willow Valley. The theme of this year's event is Team Go Red and will feature informative breakout sessions, a fashion show and silent auction. The 2012 Go Red For Women Luncheon is an informative and enjoyable event to encourage women in the community to become champions for heart health.
