June 10, 2010: For the 5th year in a row, BSSF is participating in the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Greater Harrisburg. The BSSF team has raised over $40,000 for the cause since 2006 and in 2009 was the third highest grossing fundraising team raising an amazing $10,200 of the $113,000 total raised!
Teams of residents from the surrounding Harrisburg area will gather at Susquehanna Township High School on June 25-26, 2010 from 4 pm to 4 pm for an overnight relay against cancer. Relay For Life is a family-oriented team event where participants can walk relay-style around the track and take part in fun activities off the track. Teams can include coworkers, club members, family and friends. All proceeds support the American Cancer Society's initiatives including cancer research and patient programs and services.
