CARES Act: County Relief Block Grant Program in Pennsylvania

UPDATED: September 25, 2020

Under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, 2020, Pennsylvania received funding to cover costs that are necessary expenditures incurred due to COVID-19. The Community Development Block Grant – CARES (CDBG-CV) funds were distributed to counties throughout Pennsylvania. The counties were then allowed to use the funding in various different ways, including to support businesses.

Most counties have now created grant programs to support small businesses. Each county is responsible for their own programs and may have their own requirements. Below you will find a list of counties that currently have programs in our region.
