IASA 2014 National Conference

IASA 2014 National Conference

The week of June 9th Hank Straub and myself, Co-Principals of the BSSF Insurance Audit Practice, attended the 2014 Insurance Accounting & Systems Association (IASA) Educational Conference & Business Show in Indianapolis, Indiana. As in past years, the conference provided educational speakers on various IT and financial topics pertaining to the insurance industry. Additionally, the volume of insurance industry vendors was again impressive and a good source for companies to meet various IT system vendors. We were able to have discussions with several insurance vendors providing an array of services that could benefit property and casualty companies. The conference also provided a great setting to connect with several clients and colleagues in the insurance industry. The 2015 IASA Educational Conference & Business Show is in Las Vegas, Nevada, on June 7 – 10, 2015, at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

BSSF is a member of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of IASA, with Hank Straub being a Board member at large of this local chapter. The Combined Metro NY/NJ & Mid-Atlantic meeting is also an excellent educational meeting. This meeting is scheduled for September 11-12, 2014, at the Revel Resort & Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

As an A.M. Best Ranked practice, the BSSF Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance Audit team is one of the largest in the Mid-Atlantic region to service the industry. Visit the BSSF P&C Insurance page to learn more about our audit, tax, and advisory services to the property and casualty insurance industry.
