Effective for fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2021, a new accounting standard from Financial Accounting Standard Board (FASB) will affect the way leases are accounted for.

On Thursday, January 13, 2022, BSSF held a Lease Accounting Webinar. Presenters Dr. Nancy Stempin, CPA, CIDA, CGMA, Director of Technical Compliance, and Cami L. Grimm, CPA, Manager, provided a detailed description of the upcoming lease accounting changes, including a demonstration of a potential software solution.
