Our client, a leading Central PA commercial and industrial multi-trade contractor has a great opportunity for a Vice President in their Mechanical Division. This full-time position reports directly to the company President and represents the mechanical division on the company Board of Managers. The Vice President is responsible for the entire mechanical division including construction and service. Other responsibilities include:

 

  • Bid selection
  • Review of construction contracts
  • Assisting with labor negotiations
  • Monitoring workload of the project managers and estimators
  • Reviewing project estimates and job status
  • Negotiates vendor pricing
  • Maintaining relationships with existing customers
  • Fostering development of new customer relationships

Required Skills

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 10 years mechanical construction experience
  • Construction industry experience required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge in estimating software a plus
  • Ability to work well in a supportive team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills required
  • Ability to organize multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Superior customer relation skills
