Brian is the Director of Client Advisory Services at Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz, providing senior level chief financial officer (CFO) and controller accounting and advisory services to small and mid-size companies within a variety of industries. He also assists companies with structuring and managing their internal audit departments.

Having served in several CFO roles for 20 years in small and mid-size companies, Brian has a breadth of experience in providing high-level CFO services and management functions. He helps companies with managing the financial and operational aspects of their organization through treasury and risk management, budget preparation, cash flow analysis, financial reporting and benchmarking, profitability analysis, developing Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and other operational functions to enhance profitability.

Prior to his experience as a CFO, Brian began his career in the audit practice of an international public accounting firm, serving both SEC registrants and for-profit and nonprofit private entities. He transitioned to internal audit for an international manufacturing and distribution company in York for the next 10 years before being promoted to Head of the Internal Audit Department. His experience as an internal auditor included creating operational efficiencies, due diligence programs for the evaluation of merger and acquisition prospects and monitoring of internal controls.

Brian received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Bloomsburg University.
